Keri Smith

Owner and Senior Bookkeeper

Keri began her impressive career path as the owner of D.G. Smith Insurance Brokers in Uxbridge, Ontario where she wore all the hats – including managing the company’s finances. After selling the insurance business, she took on the role of Executive Director for her family’s foundation where she discovered Quickbooks Online and the capabilities that software had with helping businesses run smoothly. That started the journey of helping other organizations with their financial needs. It has been close to ten years now of managing her non-profit as well as the needs of her clients using QuickBooks.

Keri is passionate about her family and friends and spends her downtime enjoying a round of golf and travelling to new and exciting destinations.

Bringing a wealth of knowledge and professionalism to the table, Keri ensures that her clients are well taken care of. It is no surprise that over 75% of her new prospects are referrals.

Emma Smith

Bookkeeper

Emma graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. After graduation, Emma began doing some part time work in bookkeeping and was able to pick up the knowledge quickly and enjoyed doing the work. She subsequently began taking on new clients and more work, completing her QuickBooks Online Certification and transitioning to full time.

During her undergraduate studies, Emma spent six months abroad in Ireland, where she travelled across Europe, crossing 14 countries off her bucket-list and solidifying her love of travel. In her spare time, she also enjoys practicing her guitar, starting new crochet projects and reading different books.

Emma’s desire for knowledge and drive to succeed continues to push her to learn more within her role. She is passionate about finding new, effective and efficient skills that will allow her to give her clients the most well-rounded services possible.

Julia Follo

Julia holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Guelph’s Lang School of Business and Economics. She began her professional journey in the insurance industry, before transitioning to the investment sector.

With a passion for providing tailored financial solutions, Julia specializes in streamlining bookkeeping processes and offering in-depth financial analysis to ensure accurate reporting. She is committed to helping clients stay organized and tax-ready, offering personalized support to meet their unique needs. Dedicated to ongoing learning, Julia continually seeks to expand her knowledge and expertise to provide the best possible service.

Outside of work, Julia enjoys spending time by the lake, playing golf in the summer, and skiing in the winter. She is also passionate about fitness, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Junior Bookkeeper and Office Administrator

Abby graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Health and Society, specializing in Metal Health and Addictions. With a diverse background in administrative and customer service roles, Abby brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to delivering top-quality services to her clients. Her passion for helping others and providing exceptional support led her to join the team part-time, where she quickly developed a deep appreciated for the work and transitioned into a full-time role.

She thrives on continuous learning and is always seeking opportunities to grow both professionally and personally, consistently striving to improve her skills and contribute to the success of her team and clients.

In her free time, Abby volunteers for an eating disorder awareness organization and is passionate about increasing awareness and decreasing stigma connected to mental illnesses. She also enjoys staying active through Pilates, reading, crocheting and quality time with friends and family.
